Well this explains why 3403 has been missing in action since May! It makes me wonder if we need more power up here!

She was back on both feet this morning and parked on the Stuart St. Yard RIP track. Hmmmm………, I wonder if EMD designed the pilot assembly for such a scenario? Note that the fuel tank is not touching the rails – probably a good thing!

Thanks all for playing I am informed that SOR replaced the wheels and some traction motors – the next day 3403 was back inside the shop – I was down in Hamilton two days in a row.
SOR has a shop? Where? I thought they didn’t have one since the Stuart Street facility came down.
Jacob, why yes they do. It’s now located in the former International Harvester Plant right beside Railcare. G&W also purchased Railcare – not long after the shop move.
Unfortunately the shop is located on Port of Hamilton property so it’s not accessible by means of public property.
And just an update. RLHH 3403 came up to Brantford yesterday on 496. It was left in the yard and lifted by 597 overnight. So 3403 is back on the Hagersville Sub
