Working local industries along the Newmarket Sub, CN 8174 rumbles north over Rogers Road. This scene has changed quite a bit, with the CNR bridge lettering now replaced with Metrolinx insignia, and most industries removed. The site at left is now home to a school, while housing has sprung up on the former Brooks Mfg Ltd site at right. Gone too is the Rogers Road streetcar line, which last ran just two years after this photo in July 1974. Further information found HERE.
