Caption: With the Victoria auxiliary on the south end and the Vancouver auxiliary on the north, the cleanup of the day-before head-on at mile 68.3 continued with re-railing the mangled-both-ends lead unit of train 51, 8008, with the crushed cab leaving all involved amazed and thankful the three crew members had survived when trailing unit 8006 had ridden up then over and down the bank to the left, with the behind-the-cab fuel tank of 8008 remarkably intact with no breach.
