With the rerouting of CP 142 back to the Hamilton sub, this could be one of the last CP 142 coming down the Galt sub for a while. Here it is led by UP 5464 (AC45CCTE) with CP 8801 for added power on their way through Guelph Junction. As a side note, one of the OSR's cabooses sits in the siding.

  1. CP 142 into Ontario tonight will be via the Hamilton Sub.

  2. Do you have any idea what time train 142 will pass through Hamilton’s Kinnear Yard

  3. Local fans may be able to give a more precise answer, but I believe it generally passes through Hamilton somewhat late at night.

  4. 143 had been arriving at Guelph Junction in the 7am until 9am timeframe around the same time as 246 so we’ll have to see what the new schedule brings. 143 was at Kinnear early this morning in the 7:30 range and 246 went down around 8:30 am so we will have to see where they fit 142 and the LTR train in.

  5. Thanks for the heads up on the time frame

  6. Curious why the re-route?

  7. Dave – I believe it has something to do with a block for Detroit, stacked, the train works North Baltimore OH for it.
