Caption: With the fixer-upper interior showing off its ancestory as a well-used quarry critter, TRHC 1 idles outside the roundhouse while moving equipment around. Having come a long way since being built for Pinecrest quarry in the early 1950's, at the time of this photo the unit was only recently acquired from the YDHR. Capable of operation, the Toronto Railway Heritage Association has already begun work in it including a new paint job and a new bell (later would follow more extensive work such as an engine rebuild). The CLC-Whitcomb 50-tonner was acquired by the museum because of its local (quarry) ancestory, and that it was able to move and fit with CNR 6213 on the John St turntable, among other reasons.
