With most of the BCOL C40-8M fleet going into storage over the past couple of months, I certainly didn’t think I’d see a pair of these again. Nevertheless, here’s Edmonton to Vancouver train M31151 13 just west of Grant Brook, BC on CN’s Albreda Sub with BCOL 4605 and BCOL 4622.
The fleet was down to about 3 or 4 units left operational, but as of today there are now 14 out and about on the Canadian mainlines again. None of them are operating in the US currently.

  1. I am surprised there has not yet been comments posted about how beautiful an image this is. Fit for a calendar!!!

  2. I’ll never get tired of these beauties. Nice catch.

  3. Brought a tear to my eye to see those old girls still out and about. The scene could almost be in the Pine Pass on the former BC Rail Chetwynd sub.

  4. I might add, Tim………Congratulations on your CN calendar shots!! Superb stuff.
