Caption: With less than a year until they close the track through the Fort, on this sunny day I brought the camera when we went shopping. Unlike my other earlier post of the station from Sept. 87 (Last train through the Fort day), the semaphore has arms here. Set at caution for a westward train. Picking up a 19Y order maybe? This is certainly the style of station I am used to seeing here in western Canada. Glad I brought the camera, for being situated in a busy area (wires etc.), I'm happy with the moment I captured of this station in its final days. Shot with Kodak 100 ASA print film.

I should add that the station has been preserved since the day the rail line was closed. A piece of the track was kept and they have a caboose parked on it. A most excellent display.
Those Canadian Northern Class 3 stations were all over the west. I think there were some in the east as well. A classic design!
