With her bell in full swing, Pacific-type #2218 works the yard at Consolidated Paper Corporation in Pembroke. It looks like Del Rosamond has found another lofty perch for capturing an image on a hot summer’s day.

  1. Man !!! What a scene !!! Sure looks a throwback to the simpler life, doesn’t it?

  2. A timeless picture; the Ottawa River in the immediate background with the hills on the Quebec side also in view.
It looks like there were floating logs in the Ottawa which itself was a throwback to the pre-railway era.

  3. Very nice.
