  1. what’s with the extra ditch lights on the 2090? saw that on a few CN gp9s in videos.

  2. I think they are “Temporary” magnet mount lights used when regular headlight or ditch lights are not working. Maybe the shop forgot to remove them after repairs were completed.

    Joe Bishop’s photo of the BNSF 2090 in Caledonia on July 5 2024 shows the “temporary” lights illuminated.
