With a fresh Ottawa Valley Railway (OVR) crew on board, Canadian Pacific train 556 heads into the yard to lift a block of cars at Cartier, Ontario which is situated north of Sudbury. The Winnipeg-Montreal train would eventually begin its journey across the OVR from Sudbury after departing Cartier with CP 6013, SOO Line 781 and CP 5768 powering the southbound.

    The sd40-2 pictures we posted started a Toronto frenzy :)

  2. Yes, we got lucky here as they had to un-couple to lift cars in the yard.

    An SD40-2 leading today is hot. And it always seems to be sunny in Toronto too!

  3. Yeah the always sunny is actually just luck. With about 8 guys trackside for photos , at least one will get it in sun.

    And we’ll see that one picture because that’s the only one that’ll get on here :)
