While the cowls may not have been a railroaders engine they certainly were a railfans. We have been spoiled here in Canada for the past few decades as far as freight cowls go, from HR616’s, SD40/50/60 variants to GE Dash-8’s. Sadly it has almost come to an end, but it is nice looking at the images left behind. This early spray a pair of SD60 cowls dig into the slight grade at Ash as they head for Toronto.
