While I was wandering at Campbellville this westward train came at me out of the early morning sun. So hopped in the car, booted it down the 401 to Woodstock and as far west as the bridge over the Middle Thames River in Thamesford before I thought I had a great place for a shot of this colourful power. Having come this far, it was nothing to wade into the muck pond and get the feet wet. CP 5490 (SD40M-2), HLCX 5007, HATX 924 and CP 5983 was the power. And that was all that would fit on this tight bridge shot. Beautiful warm morning; the kind of day being trackside is all about.

  2. Sweet shot!

  3. Thanks, Marcus. But it is 2:13PM. Aren’t you supposed to be working instead of looking at pictures?

  4. I like when you use reflections in your photos
