Caption: When I visited Rocanville, Saskatchewan, on Tuesday 1976-10-05, that point was on the through Neudorf subdivision from Virden to Esterhazy, but the depot had been closed for years and had been relocated in 1972 to the Rocanville and District Museum at 220 Qu’Appelle Avenue in Rocanville, as seen in this photo.
As part of subsequent branchline rationalization, Rocanville to Esterhazy was abandoned, and the line from Virden to a wye a bit east of Rocanville (leading eight miles north to a potash mine loadout) was then renamed the Rocanville subdivision. The former depot survives today as a key part of the museum, and is now at GPS 50.38593, -101.70476.

Visited museum a couple of years ago and I must say they have done a great job. And speaking of great jobs, this photo is a classic.
