What was a rare catch for me back then was the "CPBU" in daylight. I was a bit of a shock to see this. Like most other fans, I just accepted the fact this generally ran under cover of darkness.
Here it is, Toronto to Buffalo run thru,  moving along at a good clip as it crosses Grimsby Rd (12) as I photographed it from alongside of Young St. The train is close to the Smithville name sign, another quarter mile along.
Power is CR 2887, 3634 (x-RDG) and 8071.
