What once was, will be no more...this was the story in 2012 as the last of the former Canada Southern mainline was torn up. However, it's legacy still survives by those stations that still remain. Here, where the former road was once laid...the Comber station basks in retirement from the glow of an evening sun. At this time of the day, this used to be a hard shot to get good lighting on. But from the demolition of the former silos that once stood proudly track side...it is now wide open and offers a picturesque view.

  1. Nice shot of the old station.

  2. Oldest wooden station in company service. Mind you probably not for long if anymore. I hope locals or a museum have eyes to preserve this beauty.

  3. Also notice the unintended “time machine” match in suggested photos :)
