Caption: What a difference the years make !!! This is a CP train, westbound at the Victoria AV crossing, on approach to Puslinch. Power, both leased, are HLCX 4406, GP40 CLC (x-Amtrak 651) and HATX 518, GP40u (x-CSXT 6548). A leased unit leading on a Friday resulting in me leaving work early with a terrible sore throat (cough, cough). I marked this photo as the Galt Turn, but have forgotten if this was a train that worked west to Galt, or worked east out of Galt and is returning.

I’d be guessing that it’s the London Pick-up
I hope your “sore throat” healed.
Is that crossing as open today or have they let the brush grow up nearby?
This crossing is just as open today as it was back then. About 100 ft west of this road is a little hillside where you can sit in the grass and watch the ticks crawl up your pantleg. )
RLK: I wondered if that was the Pickup; and was puzzled as to why I referred to it as Galt Turn on my photo. Thought maybe it was a short-lived experiment or something.
that’s a rare face – for sure. Nice.. uh.. ‘work’ you have there.
*cough*
Victoria Rd is a nice spot, growing in in pieces.. and the nearby farms since they are in the Greenbelt are basically unable to do anything so they are deteriorating. (can’t spray in the greenbelt!)
