Caption: West of Revelstoke by 21.6 miles and a bit over a mile east of the east switch of Taft, CP and the Eagle River and the TransCanada Highway were squeezed through a small gap, and by climbing a gravel bank, a view excluding the highway was possible. On Sunday 1974-10-13 at 1211 PDT, that worked well for a westward loaded Coleman coal train (note cross-hoppers with bottom-dump doors rather than bathtub rotary-dump gondolas) with all-SD40-2 power CP 5821 + 5660 + 5618.
