Now there’s something you don’t see every day!
Neat seeing a plow being moved/operated in the summer. And even better coupled with 4742!
Jordan spreaders were handy equipment all year round: when they weren’t plowing yards and sidings out in the winter, they were used for cutting ditches and spreading ballast in the warmer months.
CP 402881 is a Jordan Roadmaster spreader, serial number 1185, built in 1960. It is equipped with a front cab, low front blade, straight wings, air cylinder operation, and high rear platform. It was rebuilt and upgraded to diesel powered hydraulic cylinder operation at Weston Shops in late 2015/early 2016.
