Caption: VIA Rail train #86 behind CN GP40 4016 makes its station stop at Woodstock Station on October 14th 1977, while CN SW900 7222 switches cars in the background. At that time VIA was quite new, and timetables were joint VIA, CN and CP. Also of note in this scene is the colourful selection of now-vintage autos lined up in the station parking lot.
A pair of CN GP40's, 4016 and 4017 (later renumbered 9316 and 9317) were given high speed gearing in the 1970's for use on passenger trains in Southern Ontario. They could often be found in CN, VIA and even GO Transit passenger service.

Great shot Bill! Lots of history here.
How did you get the shot from that elevation?
Jacob, there was street over pass and bridge since removed.
