Caption: VIA Rail's Prince Albert Park brings up the rear of Vancouver-bound train no. 1, The Canadian, as it highballs away from the former Canadian Pacific station at Parry Sound, Ontario. For a brief moment, all is right in the world. This photo is dedicated to Arnold Mooney.

Kind of you, Ryan. Shucks.
Very nice Ryan ! Yes indeed, for a moment all is well in the world, and starting a week today ( Wed May 4th), this scene will occur to twice a week with VIA #1 departing Toronto on Sun & Wed. Thanks for posting, John
With the addition of ‘buffer cars’ on Budd built stainless steel equipment consists, this Park Car shot is no longer possible.
Great capture Ryan! This Park Car features a mural from my childhood friend’s Mom from St. Catherines, NL (the late Canadian artist, Mary Pratt). Her work was part of the 1988 Park Car renewal of the original 1954 commissioned art.
