VIA LRC 6911 leads a steam-heated passenger consist of blue and yellow cars on a chilly day in January 1990, stopped at the station in Guelph. Steam generator cars were necessary when running older equipment with LRC or F40PH locomotives, as they were delivered with HEP generators for modern equipment, rather than steam generators that the older cars required.
