Caption: VIA F40PH-2D 6417 blasts eastbound through Burlington GO Station on its way to Toronto on a lush, green day. There's no shortage of dead bugs splattered all over 6417's nose, meeting their unfortunate end as the mighty 3000 horsepower beast hustled back and forth across southern Ontario.
While the VIA didn't stop for them, passengers gather on the third track awaiting the arrival of the photographer's former GO train, #907 from Toronto, which will be soon heading back here from Aldershot as #912 (note to viewers, although not condoned, you can beat a GO train from Exhibition Station to Burlington with some time to spare, but only if the weekend traffic on the QEW is good...)
