VIA 85 had a surprise on the tail end today Feb 18. Three VIA Budd cars were tagged onto the end of the normal two car train.
It almost looked like a 5 car stainless train but as it got closer, the engine humps on the roofs of the trailing cars gave a clue as to what was to come.
VIA 6438 was in charge with VIA Budds 6251, 6208, 6105.

  1. AWESOME!!!

  2. I guess I could have said that VIA 85 had 5 Budds for you today.

  3. Surprise? Thats a shock !!!

  4. Nice work Dave. I was equally surprised by it. My photos are garbage, I had set up for a pan shot outside of town. The pan turned out well, but the RDC’s… ahh darnit.

  5. These predictably returned on 88 tonight.
