Very little remains of the former H&NW original right of way through Milton. In 1960 it was completely rebuilt and for the most part relocated and elevated. The town line spur is just a small section of that old alignment. Here local 551 lifts one centre beam car from the busy Taiga forest products facility along the old spur. They will spot a few loads before heading north to Mansewood to run around there train and head back to Aldershot.

  1. Not very much is giving away this engines age. Nice catch.

  2. Nice shot Marcus.
