Various flavours of Toronto Transit Commission PCC's crowd the yard tracks of Roncesvalles Carhouse on a wintery day in early 1973, waiting their next trip out on routes such as King, Queen, and Carlton that were run out of Roncesvalles (Roncesvalles on the destination roller blind instead one of the usual endpoint usually meant a car was short-turning or going out of service at that street, and returning to the carhouse). From left to right are an A6-class car (43xx), A7 (4400), two ex-Cleveland A11's (46xx, the first fully repainted in subway red), another A6 (recently rebuilt and sporting a water bumper) and an A7. Couplers on some cars (44xx (A7) and 46xx (A11)) were for MU service on the busy Queen route. Road salt and brine coat a few of the cars that have been out in service, others have recently visited the wash rack and are a bit cleaner.
