Used to love going to the Sault for work. This trip however was for a motorcar run on the AC from Sault Ste. Marie to Hearst and back. The day before our departure however a visit to the AC shops nabbed us Algoma Central FP9A #1753 (ex-VIA/CN #6514), sitting quietly in the Sault Ste. Marie yard among friends from the ACR and WC. Where else could you have shot a lastup of 3 F's, a WC GP40-2, an ex-ACR SD40-2, an ex-BN SD45, and a WC SD45!!!

  1. Sad state of affairs when this power left Canada. Really nice shot and great memories.
