TTC Peter Witt streetcar 2766, operating on a fantrip during its early "Tour Tram" career, heads southbound on Victoria Street between Dundas and Shuter, passing the back of the old Imperial Six theatre (built as the Pantages Theatre in 1920, currently named the CAA Ed Mirvish Theatre) and the Imperial Optical building. In the background, Ryerson Polytechnical Institute's tan-coloured Podium (POD)/Library building is visible beyond Dundas at Gould.

  1. Nice. That’s actually the front of the theatre. To save on property taxes, which were higher on Yonge Street at the time of construction, it was built on Victoria with a tunnel over O’Keefe Lane and down to Yonge.
