Its gone….
615 suffered a failure and is no longer transport canada compliant so it’s out of commission and unknown if it may be sold or scrapped. the others belong to another company and are being considered for return to service/leasing or potential sale to third parties who may want them. They aren’t done for yet. We’ll just have to see what happens as it’s up to that third party what moves to make next on them. They’re survivors of the CN units that were sold for scrap and returned to metal by K&K, and it’ll be up to them what happens next.
No. 108 still sitting in the exact same spot on Nov 9th…at least it appeared to be in the same spot.
I was rather shocked at the building being gone.
Yes, sitting in the same spot, I was by there on November 10th. I was hoping that deadline along the fence was moved over a track or two.
On February 7th the 108 was sitting in the same spot with two loads of lumber coupled to the long hood. A GIO truck was parked outside the open gate. The engineman was in the process of trying to get the prime mover going, it was cranking over but refused to come to life.
