Train No. 6, the "Inter-City Limited" from Chicago, makes its stop at Dundas in January 1963. In the background, you can see the connecting bus for Hamilton waiting next to the station (which is an active train order office), as well as hopper cars for Canada Crushed Stone--just to the east of this location. Also note the colour light block signal and maintenance of way buildings to the left of the train.

  1. Great shot Doug! This was the bus that replaced the connecting RDC a few months earlier?

  2. Yes–it was run by Canada Coach Lines (an HSR subsidiary).

  3. That’s the Dundas I remember. Also notice the train order signal on the station. Great shot thanks.
    Doug
