Those U of T Engineers need to refresh their notes on the principle of "Measure Twice Cut Once".....then they'd get their sign to fit correctly!

TTC 4400 is hard at work on the Spadina streetcar line on a bright winter day.

  1. An excellent composition.

  2. You realize that the sign is almost as long as the streetcar itself?

  3. Driver, I think that is obvious :)

  4. I thought the street was flooded in the thumb nail. Being from Toronto, we don’t see many of these as they only use them on the Spadina LRT line. Still hanging onto the old relics. Apparently many more have been ordered.

  5. I still think they screwed up royally in assigning these. They should’ve done the 504 route first. Spadina is not as busy as King. Or as insane. If many more have been ordered, we sure as hell haven’t seen them.

  6. 4405 supposedly delivered at Hillcrest now. BBD T-Bay was having supply chain issues with getting inferior or improperly done parts from their Mexican plant.

Plus there was the strike before.

  7. I know about the strike, but getting the stuff done in Mexico and shipped up here is, still is and was a bad idea. I want it to all be built in Thunder Bay. Like it used to be. Frames, everything. Guess that’s a pipe dream.
