Caption: Thomson Station is a location on CN's Springhill sub between Oxford Jct and Atkinson, at MP 42.53. There's a defect detector as this location and a pair of LED signals protecting movements in each direction. It's a good place to go for trains in either direction in the afternoon at this time of year. I shot this westbound 407 at 14:42 AT.
