This was once the site of a very nice old Puslinch train station. I believe it disappeared in the mid 1960s, and all there is now is a MoW shed and signal as seen in this view from the side of Hwy 6, taken 42 years ago as of this posting. Power on this eastbound, moving at speed, is CP 4733 and 8599, still in old paint scheme. When I look over this scene, it brings back the feelings of the much less stressful years...........

  1. THis scene is one I’m sorry to have missed. I became interested in trains too late.
I’m sure when you took it you didn’t feel like you were taking yoiur life in your hands going up on the Highway 6 overpass. I wouldn’t walk up there today.

  2. Station bedide the stub track?

  3. I believe the station was right by the switch (north side)for the long siding….remember back in those days Hwy 6 was a level crossing. The stub ‘might’ have been for a freight shed. Don’t really know as I have seen no pictures.

  4. I thought the station was on the south side.I have a cousin that lived at the Hamilton/Wellington border and can remember picking up parcels at the station. Also road from The JCT to Aberfoyle by steam engine
