This power combination up front always intrigued me. I've not seen this particular arrangement before nor since. Coming up to CN Boyne, which is now the southern(eastern)end of CN-CP shared assets area is a GP9RM in an M-420 sandwich. CN 3500, 7037 and 3513 were all shed from the roster back in the late 1990s.

    Great shot! Haven’t times changed! I do miss the sight of those big green woodchip cars on this train and 304 if memory serves me right.

    Thanks, Robin. Yeah, I miss all the excitement there used to be in Parry and down by the Jct road. Especially a string of power on the head ends.

    Robin, 336 often had the green hoppers up front as well.
