This is just one of those things that happen in a day when everything goes right. We were taking my granddaughter to visit the doctor and down the road I see a flash of red and white. We went down to investigate and found the pair of M420's that the OSR had brought from Guelph Junction a few days prior. My now 4 year old grandson loves his trains but he's still quite afraid of then, so with a little coaxing and the fact they aren't running, we ventured over for a look. I managed to snap this during our visit. After this we visited the iconic CN 6167 steam engine to round out our morning. It couldn't have been much better.

  1. Nicely done! Kids always make the photo :) surprised they are still sitting there, apparently no big rush for CN to take them east.

  2. And he’s dressed to match! It’s pretty sad that they had to remove the horns and bells from the units but a smart choice.

  3. I went to Guelph to get them in the yard on Monday morning. Not often I bother these days to drive for a ‘dead’ locomotive shot, but these were nice to see.
Wondered if they went out on Tuesday.
