This is back in the early days of the Port Stanley tourist operation. Actually, this is the year they obtained their Provincial Charter in order to operate tourist passenger trains.
The former TH&B #61, obtained by PSTR in 1985, is now owned by the Southern Ontario Locomotive Restoration Society in St. Thomas. The switcher (x-Chessie) L3; is on the property of the OSR at Mount Elgin.

  1. That’s really neat; vintage PSTR. Great photo.

  2. Always neat to see these operations in their early days. I believe this caboose is now at Waterloo Central since SOLRS moved there awhile back.
