This empty potash train likely started off at Bissell Yard, on the west side of town a few minutes ago, bu-passing Walker Yard on its south side. They will likely exchange power, or simply pick another locomotive before the return trip.
This area was once filled with stock yards. Only Swict surved at this time and they received their animals via truck. The track sloped down at left leads to their facility. Although it is plowed, I do not ever recall seeing rail cars on that spur.
Tracks visible on the roght are the wye for the Vegreville Sub

  1. Steve, I think the track to the left goes to the old Clarke Transport warehouse.

  2. Thanks for the corrected information.
I guess I should proof read my posts. Although it does not look like it, I do have a good education. I just can’t type and and read at the same time :-)
