This beautiful old caboose was probably built by apprentice system carpenters of French ancestry. You will never find work like that again, in any railroad system. Advice: Cut away the creeping vines, replace rotting wood with appropriate lumber (not plywood). Seal the roof with the correct sealant, and keep it painted in its original scheme. Once weather and vandals have taken their toll, you’ll not get her back.
