The westbound "Atlantic" has just passed Armdale and is about to go under Mumford Road.
The second unit, a F-9B, was rather unusual for Halifax. 
The gated track to the left leads to the Simpson-Sears warehouse and store. It seems to always be filled with CP boxcars.
The historic rail equipment is a complete mystery to me. I do not even remember ever looking at it.
Note the well used path/trail across the tracks. It is one of many along this stretch of tracks. RR's weren't quite as anal back then.
