Was this 84 transferred to CN North Main or abolished? VIA 84 has been operating over the Guelph Sub for years.
One of the few units with strobe lights.
Kevin: I do not have the necessary information at hand, but I assume this #84 was relocated to the Guelph sub as a result of cutbacks. At this particular time, #84 went East on the Dundas and #85 went west on the Guelph. Other pax on the Guelph were I think all Buddcars. But yes, the train on the Dundas running at this time (thru Bayview 1100) was abolished. Probably in the 1990 Mulroney fiasco.
Damn this is pretty cool!
Neat framing !
Nice view of what VIA used to look like. FP-9′s and heritage coaches. Good memories.
Sorry it didn’t steam for you, Bob.
