Caption: The Staple of the Day. Still fresh into photography, I met up with then railfan David Graham in Guelph and we headed down to catch some action on CN's busy Dundas Subdivision. The goal to capture the endangered Norfolk Southern trains 327/328. We met up with one of David's good friends, Steve Host. Upon arrival at Paris, the group of us didn't have to wait long before NS 327 came blaring around the corner with NS GP59 4640 leading FURX SD40-2 1146, crossing over to the south main. Diesel smoke spewing out of the engines as the engineer controls his impressive string of auto boxes in tow. Fifteen minutes later NS 328 blew by with an even more impressive lash-up. I was hooked!
