The Société du chemin de fer de la Gaspésie recently repainted two of its ex-CP RS-18's into an SP Black Widow-inspired paint scheme. They are first and third on this windmill train which consists of 72 flat cars holding 48 windmill blades (as well as 1 loaded woodchip car up front), as it rounds a curve and approaches a crossing. These windmill blades are destined for Texas and represent a new business for the Société du chemin de fer de la Gaspésie, which runs this scenic ex-CN line.

  1. This angle gives an excellent view of the 3 engines. Very nice work on this photo shoot Michael. :-)

  2. My father actually liked working on these, he’s not going to believe they’ve been refurbished again :)

  3. Sweet scene. Nicely done.

  4. Where are the windmill blades manufactured? (please forgive me if you have mentioned this previously)

  5. Thanks everyone.

The blades are manufactured at a factory in the town of Gaspé.
