  1. Very cool. Just around the corner was the Caroline St spurs, as seen in the photo below. Did they work Caroline St when you saw them that time?

    Also interesting.. rails should be laid on Caroline St again very soon if not already. Region of Waterloo already has rails on some streets for the LRT project.

  2. Cool. Where did this spur continue north to?

  3. This is pretty much the end of the line. There were a few tracks (3 at least) that made up a small yard for Seagrams and possibly a furniture (Or barrel?) factory.

  4. JP Look up the history of the Grand River Railway and the Lake Erie and Northern railway. There’s a good book out there called “Steel Wheels along the Grand” by George Roth (Who did a book 20 years prior called Traction on the Grand with William Clack)

    And there are lots of GRR/LE&N photos on this site :)
