The photograph was taken after normal working hours. WP&Y 73 was under steam, & just sitting there unattended. It, & a flatcar were located just outside the two bay wood frame locomotive shed. Little did I realize that at the same date one year latter only weeds would be moving. Whitehorse was a great place to photograph trains not seen in lower BC.

  2. Found the original building – it was moved a 1/2 KM south of old location and now used by the Trolly in Whitehorse using the WP&Y tracks. Neat stuff! Would be great to see the full route ressurected to Whitehorse some day, all the track is still in place.
