Yes, but there are some four axles with the paint too, and a pair are occasionally found together. I’ve seen it in last few years.
It’s most certainly harder to do with the cowls gone
For the most part though, the paint is horrible looking and I won’t shed a tear when it’s gone. That pink nose.. bleah.
Nice catch. Great to see two on one train. Aside from the cowls, the C44-9WL’s are the best looking GE’s CN’s ever had….IMHO. Even with faded pink paint.
Speaking of C44-9WL paint, the best looking GE on CN’s roster is 2502 with website paint, absolute stunner! this is a great lashup for 2023
