Caption: The old Grand Forks station, once part of the Columbia & Western Rwy for which it was built in 1900, still stands. The Columbia & Western became part of the CPR. The track is long gone now, but the building is currently popular as the Grand Forks Neighbourhood Pub & Columbia Grill. The eatery is listed under 'Historic Places' and in situ at West Grand Forks, which used to be known as the community of Columbia. There is still a railroad in town, the 3.7 mile Grand Forks Rwy, owned by Interfor (International Forest Products) but its outside connection is with the Kettle Falls International, a US operation.
