The man and his machine, Engineer Phil Hall strikes a pose from the window of his lead unit, CN 2876. I was his conductor that day, called for a 570 to Oshawa and return (Jane St. trade off and train id reprofile). While we were a short train on the return to Mac, we would sit on the York Sub for CN 148 to come off the hill before we get our light and thus the chance to take the photo.
