The last two active OSR RS-18U's are paired up in Guelph as they back down one of the Guelph North spurs. This is what I will miss most when Cando takes over in July. It has been nice having a mainly MLW operated railroad so close to home. I have a lot of fond memories of the OSR on this line since start up in the late 1990's and have met a lot of great employees here and even got to go on a full day ride along years ago. Thanks for the memories!

  1. Love the RS18u’s. Whose taking over the line?

  2. Oh my…nice…now what are the odds that CN may bid on the GJR contract?

  3. Far too late for that Steve. GEXR won the bidding.

The bidders were Cando, GIO Rail (trillium), GEXR, and Railserve.

  4. So Ontario Southland now has been dithered down to about have of their operations as of late. I love the G&W paint but I hope OSR can pick up some more track.
