The last run of the "Credit Valley Explorer" is only one week away as the second last run is seen passing the former station site at Alton, with "extra" lights glowing. The old siding here buried in the snow hasn't seen use in years and by the end of June the entire line could fall silent for good. Hopefully a new operator can be found by that time, as Cando has made it official it is pulling out then.

  1. Let’s hope a new operator is found. The Credit Valley Explorer has great potential. Crossing fingers these won’t be the last runs ever, just the last under CANDO. Also wishing the best of luck to our friendly CANDO employees, almost 20 years of great and reliable service.

  2. Wow that is some alarming news, lets hope it ends well.
