The last day of 2014 was dark, gloomy, raw and snowless - almost like the opposite of a tropical paradise beach scene. CP 147 thunders out of CTC Wolverton with a abundance of locomotives including some U.S. power. Around this time, CP was repainting some of their first GEs (the 9500 series), as evidence, the lead locomotive, CP 9522. The clouds were slowly breaking up to reveal the end of the day, and the end of the year. After spending most of 2014 in China, this scene was very lonely compared to the hustle and bustle on the other side of the world.
