The grain extra has some additional help on this sunny day with the beetle 9105 spliced between the 5607 and 5580. Amazing weather for the time of year, the winter of 87/88 had little snow. I can remember seeing people out on the golf course during Christmas week. This photo taken at mile 25.5, time approx. 15:30.

  1. Perfect fall weather. Great photo.

  2. It’s was very nice of the section guys to mow the right-of-way so you could get this terrific, unobstructed shot! :-) Another beauty!

  3. I know it was all part of the line rehab. but at times, it felt like they were doing it for your picture taking benefit. Especially cutting down all the old telephone poles, that very much opened up many new photo locations. Thanks Terry and Paul. :-)

  4. Great image!
So interesting CN did that to the old F7’s. I guess they needed 4 axle power that badly.

  5. Thanks Marcus. Also the fact that CN gave them a little larger fuel tank. It was more than just a quick paint the windows red.
